Previous Years
Who Can Participate?
Anyone and everyone! Painters, writers, makeup artists, videographers, singers, dancers, bakers, crafters, photographers, the list goes on! No matter your skill level or medium, you are always welcome to join in our festivities. Last year, we saw drawings, music, makeup art, and food. I would love to see people from all backgrounds and mediums participate!
Creator Amanda McCoy is a author/illustrator, so prompts are created with that in mind. Feel free to adapt the prompt to suit your medium.

Rules and Guidelines
- The main objective is to have fun and show your pride!
- Prompts are there to guide you, but feel free to interpret them any way you want. All mediums are acceptable.
- You don't need to post every day! But you can :)
- You don't need to post on time. Being on the right day does make my life a bit easier, so it's encouraged. But it's totally fine to post a day late sometimes too.
- Post to the hashtag #thepridechallenge to connect to the community and be featured! Tagging @amandamccoyart will put you in my notifications, but you need the hashtag to be featured.
- You can participate as an ally!
- NSFW work is allowed but will be censored when featured.
-Reclaimed words such as "queer" are allowed. You can still be featured. I will not be using it when referring to the community as a whole or to people who have not used it to refer to themselves. It can be used to talk about a time where it was used as a slur as well. Otherwise please do not use reclaimed words as slurs. Please do not attack other community members for using or not using reclaimed words.
- swearing/cussing is allowed as long as it's not used against other community members.
NOT ALLOWED:
- NO PEDOPHILIA! We do not support MAPs (pedophiles) or consider them part of our community. If you post any pedophilic content to our hashtag, you will be reported and blocked.
- NO GATEKEEPING! As said above, we accept all LGBT folk, skill levels, and mediums. Please be kind to all participants!
- NO HATE! Don't insult or direct swears/slurs at other community members. We're a family, but that doesn't mean we need to family feud!
